Encourage planting and showing of horticulture by bringing specimens to every meeting.
Holding an annual plant exchange among members

Ecology
Promotion of bird protection by maintaining bird feeders, houses, and baths in member's gardens and by planting flowers and shrubs favored by birds.
Youth Education and Participation
Participation in biennial flower show by youth groups through display of artwork or flower designs.
Coaching 4-H members in NJHA competition for parish and state achievement days.
Community Development
Assisting with landscape design and planting of flowers and shrubs in local communities.
Contribution of flowers and bulbs to retirement villages for residents' individual gardens as a garden therapy project.
Presentation of design workshop inviting senior citizens in retirement villages. Club members contribute containers and materials.
Sponsorship of local community in the Cleanest City Contest.
